The Marc Chagall Suite (Suite no 3) was written in 1985 after a visit to the Chagall exhibition at the Royal Academy. The movements are musical depictions of five paintings.
In addition to listening to the individual tracks in the contents table below, you can also listen to the entire work on YouTube, where the accompanying videos depict the paintings that inspired the pieces, as shown below. The recording used to make the YouTube videos is by Oliver Williams, piano, taken from the CD Piano Pictures (which may also be purchased from this site).
A much more recent second recording has been made especially for this site by Ennio Caironi, and this is provided as the audio-only tracks within the contents table, below.
Et Omnes Eandem has been recorded by Regent on a CD of mainly choral music and songs by Gary Higginson, entitled Songs of Innocence and of Experience: Music by Gary Higginson [REGENT REGCD381]. The extract from the CD is provided here by courtesy of Regent Records and the composer.
