AIRBORNE was written in Buenos Aires in 1963.

John Barton Armstrong served in the Fleet Air Arm and then worked in aeronautical design for Vickers Armstrong from 1951. He was involved in all aspects of aviation, designing and selling aeroplanes and went through various generations of very successful aircraft design. He was also on the project design team of Concord.

AIRBORNE though, surely, belongs more to the light aircraft world….
